Job summary

Mirakl in Paris or Bordeaux is recruiting a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and scale production-grade AI systems powering the next generation of intelligent commerce. You will work at the intersection of Software Engineering, Machine Learning, and Generative AI to build AI-native products, agentic systems, and platform capabilities used by Mirakl customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering, ML engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience building production AI systems with LLMs, RAG, and AI Agents.
• Experience designing multi-step agentic workflows and retrieval systems.
• Experience evaluating AI systems and improving model performance.
• Experience deploying and operating production services in cloud environments.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Curiosity, pragmatism, and passion for building AI products.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI systems for internal operations.
• Develop solutions using LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, and multimodal AI.
• Architect agentic workflows with tools, memory, retrieval, planning, and guardrails.
• Prototype quickly and scale into reliable AI production systems.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to maximize business impact.
