White Circle in Paris is seeking a Product Engineer (Backend - Rust) to own core systems powering AI safety at scale. You will design APIs handling hundreds of millions of requests with real-time policy enforcement and high-throughput pipelines.

Work across the stack, ship features end-to-end, and collaborate with product and research to turn requirements into production systems. Strong Rust, async, and PostgreSQL skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Backend systems built and shipped in Rust.
• Experience with async Rust (Tokio) and web frameworks.
• Strong fundamentals in system design and scaling.
• Fluent English communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Design and build backend services in Rust for real-time policy checks at scale.
• Own features end-to-end from API design to deployment.
• Collaborate with product and research to translate requirements into production systems.
• Improve performance and observability of critical services.
