White Circle, an AI Safety company, is seeking a Product Engineer (Backend – Rust) to own core systems powering AI safety at scale. You will build APIs handling hundreds of millions of requests, implement real-time policy enforcement, and develop high-throughput data pipelines.

You will design and ship backend services in Rust, own features end-to-end, and collaborate with product and research to translate requirements into production systems. Hybrid Paris-based role with relocation package.

Qualifications

• Backend systems built with Rust, Python or Go.
• Strong fundamentals in system design and scaling.
• Fluent English communication and collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Design and build backend services in Rust that handle real-time policy checks at scale.
• Own features end-to-end: API design, database schema, deployment, monitoring.
• Work across the stack as needed to solve problems.
