A game development studio in Lyon is offering a full-time internship in Game Design. As an intern, you will join a small team focusing on game development and engage with designers, programmers, and artists. Your responsibilities will include tuning game mechanics, particularly combat, and working closely with teams to implement features. An ideal candidate is passionate about RPG games, eager to learn, and comfortable communicating in English. The position offers meal vouchers, transportation refunds, and 6 months of paid leave.

Qualifications

• Eager to learn about game development.
• Must have a passion for RPG games.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Experience with Unreal Engine is a plus.
• Experience with Behavior Trees is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Tune game mechanics focusing on combat and progression systems.
• Work with the combat designer to balance combat elements.
• Collaborate with teams to debug the game based on production needs.

Connaissances

Eager for gaining in-depth knowledge of game development
