This is a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting game studio, using leading technology to create new genre-defining games, within our collaborative Action RPG team.

New Tales is currently looking for a highly motivated and talented Production Intern (F/M) to join our adventure at NEW TALES.

WHAT IS THE JOB ABOUT?

As part of the Production team, you will help ensure the team is on track for success. The core of the role will be managing bugs and tasks in Jira, as well as managing relationships with publishing requirements (localization, external team members and external playtests).

THAT IS GREAT BUT WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR THE DAY TO DAY?

• Assess risks and potential blockers, ensuring each team member has clear priorities
• Assist in delivering tasks of the production team
• Manage internal playtests and meetings
• Maintain a calm and positive demeanor, providing stability to the team
• Play the game (a lot) to understand how features and content are interconnected

Requirements

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Eager to learn about the process of building a great game
• Personable, friendly and level-headed
• Experience with other aspects of game development (eg. Programming, animation, quality assurance etc)
• Able to communicate priorities and deliveries, ensuring they are met.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

• Spoken and written in English
• Student that is eligible for an internship (min Bachelor or equivalent)
• Patience and humility – Understanding that iteration leads to better quality
• Respectful of everyone’s role – We strongly encourage feedback and input across departments whilst always remaining mindful of stakeholders and decision makers.
