Job summary

Airbus Helicopters SAS in Marignane is seeking an EC175 Rotors Systems engineer to join the Rotors Systems Design team. You will design rotor architectures, create 3D models and detailed drawings, and ensure quality and conformity through the full product lifecycle.

You will interact with projects, airworthiness, test, and production teams, travel to France and possibly Germany, and contribute to certification and industrialization activities.

Qualifications

• Education to a 5-year degree level in mechanics, design and dynamics or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of aeronautics experience.
• General knowledge of aircrafts.
• Knowledge in mechanics, preferably aeronautics; flight mechanics knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to use CAD software (CATIA Vol Surf/Composite).

Responsibilities

• Design rotor system architectures to meet helicopter specifications and engineering outputs.
• Model rotors from parts to assembled systems using 3D models and det­ailed drawings, considering functional, kinematic, strength and industrial constraints.
• Ensure quality and conformity of rotor deliverables throughout product development and service life.
• Manage equipment suppliers and project activities, monitor KPIs (OTD/OTC/OTQ) and support testing and certification.
