Job summary

Airbus Helicopters SAS in Marignane is seeking a Rotor System Design Work Package Manager. You will lead a team focused on rotor systems for Super Puma, driving design evolution, substantiation, and technical support across manufacturing, flight tests, and maintenance.

The role operates in an agile environment within the MCT and squads, coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring technical standards. A senior engineer with proven leadership and international collaboration is ideal.

Qualifications

• Educated to 5 years' degree level (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering.
• Over 10 years of experience in Aeronautical industry and Engineering.
• Synthesis spirit, rigorous, product and operation oriented.
• Good leadership according to Airbus leadership model.
• Good communication skills and relationship, team spirit.
• Language Skills: Advanced level in English and negotiation level in French.
• More than 5 years of experience in AH design office.
• Experience in certification.
• Experience in leading and managing.
• Language skills: German.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and redesign of complex Rotor Systems, ensuring safety, performance, manufacturability and reliability.
• Steer the substantiation process through analysis and tests (flight, ground, bench).
• Produce critical technical documentation, including Permit to Fly discussions with airworthiness authorities.
• Drive maintenance engineering through updates to maintenance manuals for rotor components.
• Capitalize on knowledge to secure future rotor technologies.
