Nio Robotics is seeking Machine Learning engineers to advance Aru's locomotion and behaviors using learning-based approaches for real robots. You will contribute to the development of robust planning and control strategies in dynamic environments.

The role targets 5–15 years of software engineering experience with strong RL/ML foundations, and requires expertise in robotics, PPO, and ML-ops for robotics including simulators and deployment of neural networks.

Qualifications

• 5 to 15 years of professional engineering experience.
• Applied knowledge in learning based robotic locomotion and navigation (RL, PPO, Sim2Real).
• Strong knowledge of robotics fundamentals.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning fundamentals.
• Experience with ML-ops for robotics: simulator tools, cloud based pipelines, deployment of neural network.

Responsabilités

• Work on core behaviors of Aru, with state-of-the-art planning and controls algorithms on real robot hardware.
• Improve locomotion and navigation using ML/RL methods and experimentation on hardware.

Seniority & profile :

• From 5 to 15 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Applied knowledge in learning based robotic locomotion and navigation (RL, PPO, Sim2Real, etc..).
• Strong knowledge of robotics fundamentals
• Strong knowledge of machine learning fundamentals
• Experience with ML-ops for robotics : simulator tools, cloud based pipelines, deployment of neural network.

At Master/Engineering degree or PhD levels.

You would work on the core behaviors of Aru, state-of-the-art planning and controls algorithms on real robot hardware to allow extensive agility and interaction abilities.
