Nio Robotics is seeking a hands-on Robotics Integration Technician to build benches, fixtures and prototypes for our R&D team and to keep our robots in top shape. The role focuses on creating working setups, iterating mechanical parts, and maintaining our robot fleet in a fast-growing startup.

You will work mainly in the workshop, bridging engineers and field ops, ensuring rigs and logs meet quality. A diploma may be substituted by strong hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in a workshop, prototyping or maintenance environment.
• Comfortable with CAD (SolidWorks, Onshape or equivalent) for designing simple parts, brackets and fixtures.
• Fluent with workshop processes: machining, sheet metal, 3D printing, assembly, fastening, fitting.
• Basic electronics and wiring skills — you can build a harness, wire a sensor, and use a multimeter.
• Some scripting (Python) or willingness to learn — enough to drive a bench and read logs.
• BTS / DUT / Licence Pro in mechanical, mechatronics, maintenance, or equivalent qualification.

We\'re looking for a hands-on Robotics Integration Technician to build the benches, fixtures and prototypes our R&D team needs and keep our robots in shape.

Profile :

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a workshop, prototyping or maintenance environment (mechatronics, robotics, machining, automotive, aerospace, lab benches…).
• Comfortable with CAD (SolidWorks, Onshape or equivalent) for designing and iterating on simple parts, brackets and fixtures.
• Fluent with the usual workshop processes : machining, sheet metal, 3D printing, assembly, fastening, fitting.
• Basic electronics and wiring skills — you can build a harness, wire a sensor, and use a multimeter without stress.
• A bit of scripting (Python) or willingness to learn — enough to drive a bench and read its logs.
• BTS / DUT / Licence Pro in mechanical, mechatronics, maintenance, or equivalent professional qualification. Strong hands-on experience can replace the diploma.

What you\'ll do :

• Build the benches, jigs and fixtures the R&D and validation teams need — from a sketch on a whiteboard or a quick CAD by an engineer, to a working setup in the workshop.
• Prototype and iterate on mechanical parts for Aru and its tools — order, machine, print, assemble, refine.
• Maintain our fleet of robots : run the regular checks, follow and improve the maintenance procedures, keep the logs clean, flag what wears out.
• Support assembly and bring-up of new prototypes and pre-series units.
• Accompany or lead on-site teams during field-ops for deployements, demonstrations, studies, enablement of partners.

You\'ll spend most of your time in the workshop. One morning machining a fixture, the afternoon running maintenance on a robot back from the field, the next day fitting a new bracket on a prototype. Your job is to make sure every engineer around you has the right rig and a robot in known-good condition.
