Nio Robotics is seeking a Robotics Field Engineer to join our Early Adopter Program in France. You will be the face of Aru at customer sites, deploying and commissioning hardware and software in real-world environments.

You will collaborate with R&D to feed insights from the field, develop context-aware navigation, and train operators to use Aru safely and effectively. This hands-on role requires travel across France and strong communication in FR or EN.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years deploying, commissioning, or servicing robotic/mechatronic systems in the field.
• Generalist robotics and software profile; comfortable with kinematics, Linux, Python, C++.
• ROS/ROS2 familiarity is a strong plus.
• Troubleshooting; diagnose field issues and restore uptime.
• Customer-facing mindset; clear communication with partners.
• Fluent in French or English.
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel 30–50% across France.

Responsabilités

• On-site deployment and commissioning of Aru as part of Early Adopter Program.
• Develop application software from trajectory generation to context-aware navigation.
• Diagnose and resolve field issues across perception, control, and software.
• Train customer operators and produce repeatable training documentation.
• Capture field incidents and feedback for R&D.
