Barsan Global Logistics is seeking an experienced logistics professional in Paris to manage end-to-end road and ocean freight import/export operations. The role covers booking, documentation, customs, billing, and coordinated deliveries for international shipments.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in freight forwarding, strong knowledge of FCL/LCL and Incoterms, and excellent English/French communication. You will work closely with carriers, brokers, warehouses, and customers to ensure timely

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end road and ocean freight import and export operations, from booking and file opening through final delivery and file closing.
• Handle and monitor FCL, LCL, and road freight shipments, ensuring timely and efficient execution of all operational steps.
• Coordinate bookings, pick-ups, departures, arrivals, customs clearance, delivery arrangements, and shipment milestones.
• Communicate daily with shipping lines, carriers, truckers, customs brokers, warehouses, overseas agents, vendors, and customers.
• Prepare, review, and maintain all required import and export documentation, including Bills of Lading, invoices, packing lists, and notices.
• Monitor shipments and provide customers with accurate status updates.
• Coordinate with customs brokers and authorities to support compliant processes.
• Enter and verify vendor invoices, freight charges, and expenses for each file.
• Prepare customer billing and ensure charges are invoiced accurately and on time.
• Track revenue, costs, and P&L on a file-by-file basis from opening to closing.
• Review shipment profitability and address discrepancies or unexpected costs.
• Ensure all operational and financial data is entered in the logistics system.
• Follow up on missing invoices and billing items before shipment closing.
• Resolve operational issues, delays, and documentation discrepancies proactively.
• Maintain organized shipment records and collaborate with operations, accounting, sales, and customer service teams.

• Manage end-to-end road and ocean freight import and export operations, from booking and file opening through final delivery and file closing.
• Handle and monitor FCL, LCL, and road freight shipments, ensuring timely and efficient execution of all operational steps.
• Coordinate bookings, pick-ups, departures, arrivals, customs clearance, delivery arrangements, and shipment milestones.
• Communicate daily with shipping lines, carriers, truckers, customs brokers, warehouses, overseas agents, vendors, and customers.
• Prepare, review, and maintain all required import and export documentation, including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, arrival notices, and other shipping documents.
• Monitor shipments proactively and provide customers with accurate and timely status updates.
• Coordinate with customs brokers and relevant authorities to support smooth and compliant import/export processes.
• Enter and verify vendor invoices, freight charges, and operational expenses related to each shipment file.
• Prepare customer billing and ensure all applicable charges are invoiced accurately and on time.
• Track revenue, costs, and profit & loss (P&L) on a file-by-file basis from file opening through closing.
• Review shipment profitability, identify discrepancies or unexpected costs, and take necessary follow-up actions.
• Ensure all operational and financial information is accurately entered and maintained in the logistics system.
• Follow up on missing invoices, supporting documents, outstanding costs, and billing items before closing shipment files.
• Resolve operational issues, delays, documentation discrepancies, and billing differences proactively.
• Maintain organized and complete shipment records in accordance with company procedures.
• Work closely with operations, accounting, sales, and customer service teams to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics operations, or a similar role is preferred.
• Experience with road and/or ocean freight import and export operations.
• Good understanding of FCL, LCL, Incoterms, shipping documentation, customs processes, and international transportation procedures.
• Experience with shipment billing, cost entry, vendor invoices, and file-level profit & loss tracking is strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate operational and financial records.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipment files simultaneously in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, carriers, and overseas partners.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/freight forwarding software.
• Good command of English and French, both written and verbal.
