Harmattan AI is seeking a Signal Processing Engineer to own algorithms that turn RF intercepts into actionable pictures of the RF environment. You will work across Radar, Radio, and Electronic Warfare modules to build classification and analytics layers for real-time operator support.

The role involves developing end-to-end pipelines, validating performance with simulated and real RF data, and collaborating with hardware and software teams to deploy near real-time solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of RF/radar signal processing experience, including exposure to ELINT/ESM/SIGINT.
• Strong fundamentals in DSP: spectral analysis, filtering, multi-rate processing, and adaptive signal processing.
• Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB for prototyping; C/C++ for production.
• Experience applying machine learning to signal classification problems.
• Strong collaboration across RF hardware, software, and data science teams.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Build algorithms to detect, deinterleave, and extract parameters (PRI, pulse width, frequency, modulation) from intercepted RF emissions.
• Develop classification pipelines to identify emitter types and match against threat libraries.
• Design analytics to create real-time electronic order of battle from detections and tracks.
• Apply ML to modulation recognition, anomaly detection, and emitter fingerprinting to improve classification.
• Fuse data across Radar, Radio, and Electronic Warfare for a unified processing pipeline.
• Take algorithms from MATLAB/Python prototypes to real-time implementations with engineers.
