Harmattan AI in Paris seeks a Radar Signal Processing Engineer to own signal processing algorithms for our airborne radar payloads, delivering mission-ready capabilities with high autonomy. You'll prototype, port and validate real-time algorithms on embedded hardware, collaborating with EW and RF analytics teams to align with system requirements and flight test campaigns.

2–5 years of hands-on radar processing experience in defense or automotive radar is required; strong math foundation and

Qualifications

2 to 5 years of confirmed, hands-on experience in radar signal processing, gained in the defense or automotive radar industry preferably.
Solid experience in Signal Processing on radar systems, FMCW or pulsed, with moving target tracking or navigation is a plus.
Strong mathematical foundations and hands-on comfort with the underlying theory.
Ability to own a technical scope end-to-end with minimal oversight.

Responsabilités

Design and implement near-real-time algorithms for radar image formation, including ISAR processing of moving targets.
Develop and refine detection and tracking algorithms for moving target indication on airborne radar data.
Prototype and port algorithms onto embedded computing platforms, balancing performance and real-time constraints.
Validate algorithms end-to-end through hardware-in-the-loop tests and flight campaigns.
Collaborate with EW and RF analytics modules to align signal processing with system requirements.
