Harmattan AI in Paris seeks a Signal Processing Engineer within RF Processing & Analytics to own algorithms turning raw RF intercepts into actionable emitter pictures for real-time operations. You will work across Radar, Radio, and EW modules, building classification and analytics layers and collaborating with embedded/FPGA engineers for deployment in contested environments.

Requirements include a Master's/PhD in EE or related field, 3–6 years in RF/radar signal processing, strong DSP

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
• 3-6 years of RF/radar signal processing experience with ELINT/ESM/SIGINT exposure preferred.
• Strong DSP fundamentals: spectral analysis, filtering, multi-rate processing, adaptive methods.
• Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB for prototyping; C/C++ for production code.
• Experience applying machine learning to signal classification tasks.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop algorithms to detect, deinterleave, and extract PRI, pulse width, frequency, and modulation.
• Build classification pipelines combining features and ML to identify emitter types.
• Design analytics for real-time order of battle of emitters, tracks, and threat posture.
• Apply ML to modulation recognition and anomaly detection to boost confidence.
• Perform cross-module data fusion across Radar, Radio, and EW data streams.
• Take offline prototypes (MATLAB/Python) to real-time or near real-time deployment with hardware teams.
• Validate detection/classification against simulated and real RF datasets in field/test labs.
