Job summary

Lazard is seeking an intern to join its Restructuring & Debt Advisory team in Paris. You will be integrated into a 10-person team and work with Lazard's M&A coverage teams to deliver high-end financial and strategic advice to clients across Europe.

The role requires prior investment banking experience, a top-tier academic background in management/finance/engineering, and strong English and French language skills. The internship runs July 2027 for six months on-site in Paris.

Qualifications

• Prior investment banking experience is a must.
• Top-tier academic background in Management, Finance or Engineering.
• Ability to produce technically written materials and client pitches.
• Excellent organizational skills with multi-project capacity.
• Ability to present clearly and work in a team.
• Autonomous working style with good common sense.
• Strong proficiency in English and French for professional use.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restructuring & Debt Advisory team in Paris on debt-related advisory work.
• Contribute to preparation of client pitches and financial materials.
• Collaborate with Lazard’s M&A and coverage teams in a multinational environment.
• Support end-to-end execution across LBO, M&A, refinancing and restructuring projects.
