Job summary

Lazard invites applications for a six-month internship in our Energy, Transport, and Infrastructure team in Paris, starting July 2027. You will support origination, execution, and coverage tasks, including preparing pitch materials, building financial models, and researching sector dynamics.

Ideal candidates are final-year students or current master's students with a Corporate Finance/Financial Engineering focus, fluent in French and English, and with prior finance internships.

Qualifications

• Final-year student or in the second part of a gap year from a top Business School or Engineering School, or enrolled in a Master’s degree (M2) with a focus on Corporate Finance / Financial Engineering
• Prior internship experience in the financial sector (investment banking, private equity, project finance for infrastructure, corporate finance), ideally related to energy, transport, and infrastructure sectors
• Excellent command of office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• You are fluent in French and English

Responsibilities

• Origination: preparing pitch materials, monitoring investors and market dynamics
• Execution: preparing process documents, managing the process, building analyses and financial models
• Coverage: conducting in-depth research and preparing papers on the various sectors covered and their companies
