Northern Montana Hospital in Montana seeks an Activity Aide to provide group and individual activities for residents, support daily living and assist with equipment and supplies. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and engagement with residents across programs.

The position requires a High school diploma or equivalent, Montana CNA certification, and a cheerful, clear communicator with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read and follow moderately detailed instructions.
• Able to write/print legibly.
• Interest in arts/crafts preferred.
• Able to communicate verbally in clear, cheerful tone.
• Valid Montana Driver’s License.
• Licensed MT Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A.)

Responsabilités

• Plan and lead group and individual activities for residents.
• Report changes in residents' physical/emotional status to Activity Coordinator or nursing staff.
• Help clean, store and maintain equipment and supplies; assist with volunteer orientation and supervision.
• Accompany residents to functions within the community; assess and refer signs/symptoms of abuse.
• Complete initial assessments within policy and regulations; document activities and participation.
• Provide safe environment for residents and assist nursing staff as needed.
