Northern Montana Hospital in Montana seeks a dedicated hospice aide to support patients under the supervision of a hospice registered nurse. You’ll help deliver compassionate care aligned with Bear Paw Hospice’s mission.

Responsibilities include assisting with routine nursing tasks, ensuring safety, and clear communication with patients and families. Required: High School diploma, CNA, current BLS, Montana driver’s license and insurance; prior CNA experience in long-term or acute care preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Valid Montana driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Ability to interpret and apply verbal and written instructions.
• Provide a current phone number.
• Ability to successfully pass Background Check and Drug Screen.
• Previous CNA experience required; minimum of one year experience in long-term care or acute care setting preferred.

About the role

To assist in the provision of hospice nursing care in accordance with a specific hospice aide plan of care for assigned patients as developed by and under the supervision of a hospice registered nurse. To assure the safe delivery of quality aide services which support the mission and philosophy of Bear Paw Hospice.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.


• Certified Nurse Aide by the State of Montana.


• Current Basic Life Support (BLS).


• Ability to interpret and apply verbal and written instructions.


• Valid Montana driver's license and current automobile insurance.

Salary is commensurate with up to 10 years of experience.
