Northern Montana Hospital is seeking a year-round Acute Care CNA/UAP to provide nursing care for patients during assigned shifts in a structured, policy-driven environment. You will work with a team to support patients across age groups, while adhering to the hospital's nursing standards and safety protocols.

The role requires CNA licensure, BLS certification, and enrollment in a state nursing education program, with emphasis on patient care quality and compliance with background checks and drug

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• CNA license.
• Currently enrolled in a state nursing board-approved nursing education program.
• Completed and passed first year of accredited nursing school.
• In good academic standing.
• Satisfactory completion of a course in the fundamentals of nursing that has been verified by the Director of Nursing.
• Satisfactory completion of a pharmacology course that has been verified by the Director of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Ability to successfully pass Background Check and Drug Screen.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care for patients during assigned shifts.
• Work in a structured care setting with established policies and procedures for delivering health care.
• Demonstrate knowledge relative to the ages of patients served.
• Assist with basic patient care activities under supervision as required.

Formation

High school graduate or equivalent

CNA license

Basic Life Support certification

About the role

The Acute Care CNA/UAP provides nursing care for patients during a specific work period. The CNA/UAP functions in a structured care setting described as geographic and/or situational environments where the policies and procedures for provision of health care are established. The CNA/UAP has knowledge relative to the ages of patients served.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.


• CNA license.


• Currently enrolled in a state nursing board-approved nursing education program.


• Completed and passed first year of accredited nursing school.


• In good academic standing.


• Satisfactory completion of a course in the fundamentals of nursing that has been verified by the Director of Nursing.

Salary is commensurate with up to 10 years of experience.
