Role Description

This is a flexible, commission-only position for an Independent Territory Sales Representative, ideal for experienced sales professionals looking to expand their portfolio with our niche line of natural pet products. Given our focused product range, this role is best suited for independent contractors or existing sales reps interested in adding complementary items to their offerings.

The role involves approximately 80% outside / field work (such as visiting potential clients, attending trade shows, and conducting in-person demos) and 20% remote work from home (handling administrative tasks, follow-ups, and virtual meetings). Key responsibilities include :

  • Identifying and prospecting potential clients in your territory, such as pet stores, veterinarians, and specialty retailers.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships through personalized outreach and solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Promoting our range of natural fish-based dog treats and other pet care products.
  • Achieving sales targets by closing deals and expanding market presence.
  • Managing a regional territory with a focus on growth opportunities via market research.
  • Providing concise sales reports on activities and results.

This position requires a self-motivated individual who can operate independently.

Qualifications
  • Proven sales and communication skills, including negotiation, prospecting, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Experience in account management, customer service, and developing / executing sales strategies, preferably in a field sales environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple clients, territories, and a mix of field / remote work.
  • Basic knowledge of pet nutrition or experience in the pet industry is a plus.
  • Comfortable working independently as a contractor, with a proactive, goal-oriented mindset and the ability to integrate our products into an existing sales portfolio.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Compensation

This is a 100% commission-only position with no base salary, designed for high performers who thrive on results. You will earn a 20% commission on all closed sales, offering unlimited earning potential based on your performance and effort.
