Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep C/C++ and Go expertise to design, develop, and maintain high-performance components for cybersecurity and web infrastructure. You will work on networking, bot-detection, and server integrations with Nginx, Apache, and modern toolchains in a remote-first setup across Europe.

You will own full lifecycle development, collaborate with distributed teams, and contribute to both proprietary and open-source projects while staying at the cutting

Qualifications

• 10+ years in C/C++ software development across multiple orgs.
• Strong low-level, systems, and network programming skills.
• Experience with web security concepts and threat mitigation.
• Familiarity with Go, Go knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software components in C and C++ for security, networking, and infrastructure.
• Develop integration modules for web servers (Nginx, Apache) for compatibility and performance.
• Extend and optimize open-source libraries and tools for security challenges.
• Implement features in a C++ bot-detection engine to enhance threat protection.
• Lead architecture discussions and ensure robust code quality across the stack.
