Jobgether seeks a Linux Platform Integration - Ubuntu Systems Senior Engineer based in France, to optimize Ubuntu across IoT, desktop, and server platforms. You will lead complex integration efforts, collaborate with partners, and influence architectures spanning cloud, edge, and devices.

You will work across kernel, networking, virtualization, graphics, and packaging, while contributing to open-source projects and ensuring high-quality experiences for diverse customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS or related field.
• Experience with Linux packaging systems: Debian, RPM, Yocto.
• Contributions to open-source projects and familiarity with licensing models.
• Strong programming in Python, C, and C++.
• Solid Linux systems understanding across multiple layers.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement optimized Ubuntu integrations for IoT, desktop, and server platforms.
• Collaborate with technology partners to deliver tailored Ubuntu experiences.
• Lead technical plans, testing strategies, and system architecture
• Act as a technical lead on customer engagements spanning cloud, edge, hardware, OS, and applications.
• Help partners integrate applications/SDKs and build device OS images for Ubuntu Core/Desktop/Server.
• Work across kernel, networking, virtualization, graphics, packaging, and application tech.
• Contribute to open-source initiatives and collaborate with global teams.
• Apply benchmarking, profiling, testing, and automation to improve quality and performance.
