BoostHire LLC is seeking an experienced architect/developer to design and implement core game features in Unity (C#) and backend systems in Node.js. You will build robust APIs and scalable infrastructure for multiplayer features, leaderboards, and user accounts, while mentoring a cross-functional team of Unity and backend engineers.

Collaborate with game designers and product leads to ship live ops features, analytics, and player personalization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with Unity (C#) and Node.js.
• Shipped at least 2 games with live backend services, ideally at scale.
• Strong knowledge of game client-server architecture, multiplayer synchronization, and network optimization.
• Experience with database design and management (MongoDB, Redis, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Deep understanding of authentication, data security, and performance tuning.
• Solid DevOps fundamentals — Docker, CI/CD, monitoring tools, cloud scaling.
• A proven track record of technical leadership, mentoring, and cross-team collaboration.

• Build scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure for multiplayer features, leaderboards, user accounts, and more.
• Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of Unity and backend developers.
• Collaborate with game designers, artists, and product leads to bring new features to life.
• Implement tools and pipelines for live ops, analytics, A/B testing, and player personalization.
• Ensure code quality, reliability, and performance across frontend and backend.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, server deployments, and cloud architecture (AWS, GCP, Firebase).
