Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and implement server-side game infrastructure, validation, and integrations with a Unity client. You will build the server foundation to enable authoritative gameplay and ensure secure metagame logic across currency, upgrades, and progression.

The role requires leadership in scalable backend systems, deep knowledge of Golang, and a track record in cross-functional agile teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals.
• Extreme fluency in Golang.
• Mastery of SQL and NoSQL.
• Background in high-scale systems.
• Understanding of Unix-like environments.
• Experience working in cross-functional agile teams.
• Strong analytical skills with problem-solving in scalability and performance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence teams.
• Ability to be self-sufficient and work autonomously.
• A deep interest in game development is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design and build the server-side foundation for server-authoritative gameplay.
