Vates seeks a senior Alliance Solutions Engineer to turn partner relationships into credible, repeatable integrated solutions. You will work at the nexus of Alliances, Product, and Services, shaping integration feasibility and delivery architecture.

The role requires leadership across multiple teams, hands-on integration artifact development, and clear technical documentation to support Sales, Support and Partners. Remote-friendly with Grenoble or Paris offices.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in integration engineering, solutions engineering, or partner engineering.
• Strong ability to read partner documentation, SDKs, and API contracts.
• Experience designing integration architectures with clear maintenance boundaries.
• Production-quality coding in YAML, Python, Go, or Shell.
• Ability to produce concise technical documentation for Sales, Professional Services, Support, and partners.
• Fluent English.

Responsabilités

• Act as the named technical contact for assigned vendor relationships on the Vates side.
• Own first-line technical triage for inbound alliance-related technical requests.
• Lead technical discovery and feasibility assessment for integrations; surface risks.
• Define integration architecture: protocol, authentication, data flow, error handling, boundaries.
• Build, validate, ship and maintain in-scope integration artifacts (manifests, scripts, connectors).
• Contribute to partner-facing assets such as Solutions Guides and knowledge bases.
• Work with Professional Services to reflect field deployment reality.
• Provide technical input to business cases for alliance investments.
• Coordinate with hardware certification teams (HCL involvement).
