IXO seeks experts to connect quantum-optical algebra with measurable behavior in remote, paid engagements. You will model cascaded optical parametric amplifiers and SU(1,1) interferometers, assess quantum correlations, and derive spectra for homodyne detection.

Applicants should have a PhD in AMO/quantum information and hands-on familiarity with noise models and squeeze-parameter identities; remote, assignment-based work will be defined by IXO.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in AMO physics, quantum optics or quantum information.
• Practical command Bogoliubov transformations, covariance methods and quantum-noise calculations.
• Hands-on with homodyne sidebands and optical-loss models; squeeze-parameter identities.
• Frontier research on cascaded parametric amplifiers, SU(1,1) interferometry or two-mode squeezing.

Responsabilités

• Model cascaded optical parametric amplifiers and SU(1,1) interferometers under loss.
• Apply Bogoliubov transformations and covariance matrices to assess quantum correlations.
• Derive or review sideband spectra for homodyne detection and interpretation.
• Analyze entanglement using fictitious-loss models and squeeze-parameter identities.
