You will cite governing guidance and explain code sets that are inaccurate or likely to fail review, supporting clear rationale in English.

The role requires an active CPC credential, at least two years of coding real charts, proficiency in ICD-10-CM/CPT/HCPCS, and the ability to articulate coding decisions.

Qualifications

• Active CPC certification (AAPC) required.
• Two years of coding real charts experience required.
• Proficiency in ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding.
• Ability to explain code choices clearly and cite governing guidance.
