Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner, seeks a Mechanical Engineering Expert (MSc or PhD) for a fully remote, independent contractor role based in France. You will tackle AI training tasks across design, modeling, simulation and multiphysics, translating requirements into analytical models and solver inputs.

Responsibilities include creating and validating simulations, developing meshes and materials, and using AI coding agents within engineering workflows.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with analytical, computational, or simulation-based solutions.
• Ability to translate physical requirements into models and solver inputs.

Responsibilities

• Solve and validate mechanical engineering problems across design, analysis, simulation, testing and R&D.
• Translate requirements into analytical or computational models.
• Develop, modify, and evaluate engineering geometry and meshes for simulations.
• Configure materials, loads, boundary conditions, contacts, and solver inputs.
• Conduct simulations across structural, thermal, mechanical, and multiphysics domains.
• Assess whether models satisfy physical principles and design constraints.
• Create and refine engineering tasks to support AI training/evaluation.
• Apply coding-intensive workflows and AI coding agents in the workflow.
• Identify model errors and propose corrections based on engineering judgment.
