Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Civil Engineering Specialist for a remote freelance AI trainer project in France. Apply your civil engineering expertise to train and evaluate language models, challenge AI with engineering problems, and help improve model reasoning and reliability.

You will test models across structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, environmental topics, CAD planning, and more, documenting errors and suggesting prompt improvements for stronger evaluation methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering preferred.
• Strong knowledge across civil engineering disciplines.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Experience with infrastructure projects is a plus.
• Peer‑reviewed publications or evidence of technical research are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated engineering responses.
• Identify technical shortcomings and help improve model reasoning.
• Test AI models with practical field scenarios and theoretical questions across civil engineering.
• Document reproducible errors and explain why responses are incorrect or incomplete.
• Suggest improvements to prompts, evaluation criteria, and testing methods.
• Communicate technical reasoning with clear steps and evidence.
