Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a CFD specialist to join a fully remote project. You will train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulations, starting from CAD data, setting up runs, and producing verified reference solutions with Python-based checks.

Applicants should have a mechanical or aerospace engineering background (PhD preferred), strong CFD tool experience, and English at B2+ or higher. Remote, international collaboration is offered.

Qualifications

• CFD with OpenFOAM/ANSYS/STAR-CCM+ and meshing experience.
• Strong verification/validation: mesh-independence studies and benchmarks.
• Python and GitHub proficiency, and English B2+ or higher.
• Nice to have: aerospace/automotive/oil & gas background; multiphase flow.

Responsibilities

• Train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulation tasks.
• Take CAD geometry, set up and run simulations, and build reference solutions.
• Write Python checks to validate agent results.
