Job summary

Mackinnon Bruce International in Europe seeks a Business Development Manager for Life Sciences Production Solutions across the region from a remote base, engaging with customers and partners to understand complex production needs.

You will develop strategic account plans, lead full sales cycles, and travel frequently to support key customers as they scale from laboratory workflows to manufacturing. Fluency in English is required, with additional European languages advantageous.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in technical, scientific, engineering or related discipline.
Significant experience in a customer-facing commercial, sales or business development role.
Experience in Life Sciences, Biopharmaceutical Production, Bioprocessing or related market is advantageous.
Willingness to travel frequently across Europe.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities across European Life Sciences markets.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans for new and existing accounts.
Understand customer processes, technical requirements and commercial objectives to identify solutions.
Promote a broad portfolio of products and technical solutions to customers.
Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders as a trusted partner.
Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle from identification to closing.
Negotiate pricing, volumes and contractual terms for profitability.
Collaborate with customers to align expectations with manufacturing capabilities.
Develop tailored presentations and materials based on customer needs.
Maintain regular contact to maximise account penetration and revenue growth.
Gather market and competitor intelligence to support strategies.
