Default (MSD) is seeking an Account Manager I in France to oversee a defined geographic region, focusing on meeting sales objectives and building strong relationships with academia, industrial, and contract research accounts.

You will develop sales programs, travel extensively, and collaborate with Field Application Scientific and Inside Sales teams to grow instrument and consumable product sales while maintaining accurate CRM data.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Life Science, Engineering or related field.
• Three years of sales experience managing multiple geographic regions.
• Industrial and/or academic sales experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develops and maintains relationships with potential and existing customers and acts as a liaison between customers and technical staff.
• Develops sales programs to achieve budgeted sales volume.
• Meets with assigned customer accounts regularly by phone or in person; resolves escalated issues.
• Focuses on prospecting new business opportunities while growing existing accounts.
• Manages accounts and updates CRM data to ensure accuracy.
