CoderPad is hiring a Remote Lead Software Engineer to join our France-based EMEA team. You will own end-to-end feature development across the stack, from frontend React/TypeScript to backend Java, Ruby, or Node.js, with modern tooling and a focus on reliability and scalability.

You’ll lead architecture discussions, review code, and work with Product and design to ship high-impact features. This remote-first role requires strong English and ability to coordinate across distributed teams in

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering with lead-level ownership.
• Proficiency in backend languages (Java, Ruby, Node.js) and frontend React.
• Experience designing scalable, reliable systems and performing code reviews.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop new full-stack features (React / TypeScript on the frontend, Java, Node.js, or Ruby on the backend) in collaboration with the Product Manager and the designer.
• Use AI coding assistants and agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) as a core part of your workflow — to accelerate feature delivery, automate repetitive engineering tasks, and offload boilerplate so you can focus on design and review.
• Contribute to architectural and technical design decisions within the team.
• Write automated tests and ensure code quality through code reviews.
• Deploy and monitor your own features in production (GitLab, AWS, Kubernetes).
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team’s engineering practices.
• Partner with Product and other teams to scope, prioritise, and deliver impactful work.
