We are working with an innovative and fast-growing SaaS scale-up that is transforming how companies plan and optimise their supply chains. Their product turns messy operational data into accurate forecasts and actionable plans, helping businesses move faster and smarter The engineering team is small, senior, and outcome-focused, giving you the space to make decisions, ship meaningful features, and see the real impact of your work.

This is a chance to work directly with the CTO, have real ownership, and play a key role in building new features and improving core systems. The company is growing quickly, with a strong market position and exciting developments ahead

The Opportunity

You will take ownership of major backend projects that directly influence customer success and sales velocity. Your first big mission will be to deliver the Data Integration module – enabling fast and reliable data ingestion, transformation, and visualisation – followed by contributions to a new Pricing module that will expand the product into new markets. You will work closely with delivery, product, and engineering teams to ensure integrations are robust, performance is optimised, and features meet real customer needs.

What You’ll Do

• Build and enhance backend services using Node.js (TypeScript) and PostgreSQL as the main data store
• Develop resilient ERP and WMS integrations with retries, idempotency, schema versioning, and high reliability
• Model data and maintain documentation using dbt (or learn it quickly if you bring strong SQL/data modelling skills)
• Deliver enterprise-grade features such as authentication, RBAC, audit logging, and API versioning
• Optimise database queries and tune performance for speed and scalability
• Collaborate with the CTO and cross-functional teams to bring new modules from idea to production

What We’re Looking For

• Proven backend engineering experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Strong PostgreSQL skills including query optimisation, indexing, and performance tuning
• SQL and data modelling experience; dbt knowledge is a big plus but can be learned quickly
• Experience with integrations and data pipelines in a production environment
• A product mindset with the ability to balance speed and quality
• Strong communication skills in English; French is a plus
• Based in France or Spain with the option to work remotely or from the Paris or Valencia offices
