UNESCO is seeking qualified candidates to constitute a roster for middle-level international consultants to contribute to human resources policy research, analysis and drafting. The role supports UNESCO’s mission by strengthening HR governance across the Organization.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in HR management, business, public administration, law, or related field is required.
• Bachelor's degree plus minimum two additional years HR policy experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in human resources management, policy development, administration of entitlements and benefits, conditions of service and compensation or related area.

Responsabilités

• Carry out HR policy research, benchmarking and drafting proposals.
• Develop HR policy revisions, technical proposals and guidelines to meet UNESCO's evolving needs.
• Analyze data and lessons learnt to inform policy making and draft findings and recommendations.
• Develop capacity-building, change management and learning materials for policy implementation.
• Provide guidance on interpretation and application of HR policies and regulatory framework.
• Conduct legal research and draft, review and advise on legal documents and correspondence.
