Jobgether SRL is seeking a General Counsel based in France to lead the global Legal and Compliance function across EMEA and the Americas. The role reports to the COO and combines strategic counsel with hands-on execution in contracting, IP, privacy, and governance.

You will build a distributed legal team, partner with the Board and executives, shape policies and controls, manage external counsel, and guide the organization through rapid growth and potential public-market readiness.

Qualifications

• Law degree with active license to practice in an EMEA or Americas jurisdiction.
• Senior in-house leadership experience in global technology or software businesses.
• Proven ability to lead distributed legal teams across multiple regions and time zones.

Responsabilités

• Lead global Legal and Compliance across EMEA and the Americas, establishing structure and standards.
• Hire, develop, and manage managers; set objectives and ensure high performance.
• Oversee corporate governance, IP strategy, open-source licensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Advise CEO and Board on significant legal, regulatory, commercial, and governance matters.
• Direct commercial contracting framework and risk controls; manage external counsel.
• Partner with product, engineering, security, finance, and other functions to translate legal considerations into actionable decisions.
