Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking an accomplished Chief Technology Officer to lead global technology strategy for a mid-sized energy advisory firm.

You will own the technical ecosystem, bridge internal systems with client-facing digital products, and steer a distributed team across Europe and North America. In this role you will drive AI and automation, manage vendor partnerships, and shape platform roadmaps with a lean, business-first approach.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading technology strategy and execution across internal systems and client-facing products.
• Deep experience with the Microsoft ecosystem: Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Microsoft 365.
• Hands-on operational leadership, engaging with modern tools rather than relying on governance.
• Strong commercial acumen with vendor negotiations and multi-country budgets.
• Ability to lead distributed teams across time zones and cultures.
• Business-first mindset in a lean, fast environment.
• Familiarity with data platforms (Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Power BI) and energy sector exposure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee enterprise IT and operations across multiple countries.
• Manage internal business systems and reporting architecture (Dynamics 365, Finance & Operations).
• Define roadmaps for client-facing platforms across two regions.
• Lead AI and automation initiatives to scale operations.
• Manage vendor relationships, licensing negotiations, and MSPs.
• Mentor a distributed technology team across time zones.
