RemoteJobsOne seeks a CFD Engineer contractor to contribute to AI-enabled engineering simulations. The role focuses on solving advanced CFD challenges, validating AI-generated results, and applying domain knowledge across mesh generation, turbulence modeling, and multi-physics analyses.

The position is fully remote with rapid onboarding and prompt start within 24–48 hours, offering per-task compensation and a strong emphasis on clarity in written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Chemical Engineering, or related field with CFD focus or 3+ years CFD experience.
• 3+ years hands-on CFD: mesh, solver setup, turbulence modeling, multiphase/heat-transfer analysis or post-processing.
• Strong understanding of Navier–Stokes, turbulence models, meshing, boundary conditions, and V&V practices.
• Proven ability to validate CFD results against data and cross-reference with experiments or analytics.
• Familiarity with ASME V&V 20, AIAA CFD verification, ITTC procedures.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and solve advanced CFD challenges in mesh generation, turbulence modeling, multiphase flow, heat transfer, and solver configuration.
• Review and assess AI-generated technical responses for accuracy and engineering integrity.
• Apply engineering judgment to simulation scenarios and fluid dynamics questions.
• Analyze and troubleshoot CFD problems with best practices such as mesh independence and convergence analysis.
• Contribute domain expertise to refine AI reasoning in CFD topics.
• Document feedback and provide clear explanations to enhance AI learning.
• Collaborate remotely with a distributed team of experts.
