RemoteJobsOne is seeking a Software Engineer contractor to work fully remotely from France. You will contribute to training next-generation AI systems by evaluating developer tasks, automating setups, and integrating workflows with CI/CD and AI assistants.

Candidates should have 3+ years in software engineering, strong GitHub workflows, Python or Bash scripting, and experience with REST APIs, OAuth, and SaaS platforms. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong command of Git/GitHub workflows including PRs, reviews, branching, and CI logs.
• Proficiency with CI/CD systems, ideally GitHub Actions.
• Experience with connectors across Claude and ChatGPT.
• Advanced scripting in Python or Bash; REST APIs, OAuth and webhooks.
• Fluency with major enterprise SaaS platforms (Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).
• Experience with AI assistants or agent tools and MCP is a plus.
• Background in technical QA, evaluation, or data annotation.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsabilités

• Execute structured evaluation tasks simulating developer activities (version control, code review, issue tracking, CI/CD).
• Assess and grade technical correctness of outputs in relevant environments.
• Design and seed reproducible test environments with real commit histories and CI workflows.
• Configure and troubleshoot integrations across multiple services (OAuth, APIs, webhooks).
• Investigate undocumented product behaviors through hands-on testing.
• Participate in calibration sessions to ensure consistent evaluation methods.
