Alignerr is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Expert — AI Content Specialist to design challenging problems, audit AI reasoning, and craft gold-standard solutions that push the boundaries of AI-assisted engineering.

This remote hourly contract invites engineers with a strong background in mechanics to collaborate with AI researchers, delivering precise derivations, validated data, and scalable insights.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding an advanced degree in ME/AE.
• Strong foundational knowledge across solid/fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, CAD/CAM, or manufacturing.
• Ability to communicate complex physical phenomena in written form.
• Detail-oriented with rigorous derivations and unit analysis.

Responsabilités

• Design advanced engineering problems across multiple domains to stress-test AI.
• Write gold-standard solutions with precise, step-by-step benchmarks.
• Audit AI reasoning for technical accuracy and adherence to standards (ASME, ISO).
• Identify and fix reasoning failures with structured, constructive feedback.
