Alignerr is seeking a Biology Researcher (Masters/PhDs) for AI training. You will tackle advanced biology problems, applying genetics, biotechnology, and bioinformatics to design rigorous problem sets and evaluate AI reasoning.

Remote, hourly contract with flexible, task-based work. You will communicate complex science clearly and maintain strict scientific accuracy on all deliverables.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Biology or closely related field.
• Deep expertise in genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics.
• Comfortable coding in Python or R for research or data analysis.
• Exceptionally clear written communicator who can explain complex science precisely and accessibly.
• Detail-oriented and methodical; scientific accuracy is non-negotiable.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop, solve, and review advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance.
• Apply expertise in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related fields to design complex problem sets.
• Evaluate AI-generated biological reasoning and flag errors in scientific logic, methodology, or accuracy.
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to strengthen AI model capabilities.
• Ensure scientific rigor, clarity, and depth across all deliverables.
• Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule.
