Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Analyst focused on AI training to help teach systems how to reason about policy, risk, and security. This role is remote and offered as an hourly contract, with flexible hours between 10 and 40 per week.

You will review security policies, map controls to frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001 and NIST, generate training data, and provide precise feedback to help AI evaluate risk and compliance scenarios.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in GRC, compliance, risk management, or information security.
• Familiar with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, or similar.
• Able to read policy documents, audit reports, and control frameworks.
• Detail-oriented with strong written reasoning and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work asynchronously in a remote setup.

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in GRC, compliance, risk management, or information security
• Familiar with one or more industry frameworks — SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, or similar
• Comfortable reading, interpreting, and evaluating policy documents, audit reports, and control frameworks
• Detail-oriented with strong written reasoning and analytical skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in an async, remote environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation workflows
• Background in security auditing, risk consulting, or regulatory compliance
• Familiarity with AI systems or machine learning concepts
