Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• 1–2 years RN experience preferred.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical ICU

Winston‑Salem, NC, United States

The Medical ICU is an adult 32‑bed unit overseeing the care of critically ill patients, including pulmonary disorders, infections, end‑stage renal disease, gastrointestinal bleeds, sepsis, and other complex conditions. The unit includes a 24‑bed open‑bay area with a nursing station between each two‑patient assignment and an additional 8‑bed open‑bay unit with a nursing station facing eight semi‑private rooms.

Expectations We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the candidate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire
• 1–2 years RN experience preferred

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
