HSBC Holdings plc in Paris is seeking a Rates Repo Trader to price and manage fixed income financing transactions, focusing on European repo deals. You’ll work with Sales, Sales Trading and Risk to optimise capital and execute across the desk.

Qualificações

• Strong trading experience with rates and credit repo products.
• Ability to assess, manage and control counterparty risk.
• Understanding hedging strategies across rates, credit and FX.
• Commercial mindset with sustainable revenue focus.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsabilidades

• Price and risk-manage fixed income financing transac­tions, primarily repos.
• Trade and manage related products: stock borrow/lending, forward bonds, cash bonds, FX swaps, futures, IRS, cross-currency swaps.
• Develop hedging strategies across rates, credit and FX.
• Generate trade ideas and discuss with Sales and clients; build relationships with market participants.
• Monitor counterparty and market risks; adjust to market conditions.
• Collaborate with Senior Management, Trading, Sales, Risk, Finance and others to support front-to-back processes.
• Contribute to product/process improvements on the trading desk.
