Prysmian's R&D Optical Fiber unit in Douvrin, France, seeks an R&D Draw Process Engineer to lead draw process development for new fiber products, including multicore and polarization maintaining fibers.

You will collaborate with Product, Process Control, Engineering and Maintenance to plan, execute and transfer knowledge, and to drive safety and continuous improvement in an industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Bac+5/general engineering degree from a recognised school.
• First experience in an industrial setting is required.
• Proficiency in English and MS Office.
• Strong teamwork, methodology and rigor expected.

Responsabilités

• Project management: define, plan, execute, analyze and qualify R&D projects.
• Experimentation: initiate and monitor experiments to drive innovation.
• Collaboration: liaise with Product, Process Control, Engineering and Maintenance.
• Process improvement: identify and implement efficiency gains.
• Problem solving: address issues with Engineering and modelisation teams.
• Training: organize sessions to transfer knowledge.
