NexUp Talent is seeking a Process Control Engineer to strengthen an optical fiber manufacturing unit. The role focuses on improving reliability, performance and ongoing process optimization within a 24/7 production environment.

You will collaborate with Production, R&D and technical teams to drive cross-functional improvements, monitor quality, and support technology transfers while maintaining safety and equipment availability.

Qualifications

• Master's / Engineering degree with specialization in Optics or Process Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in an industrial production environment, ideally 24/7.
• Knowledge of optical fiber manufacturing processes and fundamentals of optical fiber transmission.
• Experience with automated production equipment and process testing.
• Good understanding of mechanics and manufacturing technologies.
• Experience in project management and cross-functional coordination.
• Knowledge of SQL databases and standard office tools.
• Electrical certification is a plus.
• Strong team spirit, responsiveness and decision-making skills.
• Autonomous, rigorous, analytical and proactive.

Responsabilités

• Improve process reliability, machine robustness and production performance.
• Monitor quality and yield, identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes and their monitoring systems.
• Coordinate equipment testing and technically support production activities.
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects and working groups.
• Work closely with R&D on process development and technology transfers.
• Coordinate technical activities across different departments.
• Support and train Process Control teams.
• Contribute to reducing operating costs while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and equipment availability.
