C12 in Paris is seeking a hands-on engineer to join the nanoassembly team. You will help develop and operate a custom vacuum setup to transfer ultra-pure carbon nanotubes onto microchips to create qubits.

The role involves designing experimental protocols, validating processes, inspecting chips with SEM and probe stations, and collaborating with software to improve data storage and analysis.

Qualifications

• Engineering diploma or Master’s degree in relevant field; PhD or postdoc is a plus.
• Strong lab skills and hands-on experience with hardware and setup design.
• Ability to collect, organise, and analyse data; programming is a plus.
• Excellent documentation and communication in English.

Responsabilités

• Operate and improve the nano-assembly vacuum setup.
• Design/protocols to maximise nano-assembly success rate.
• Inspect and characterize silicon chips (probe station, SEM).
• Collaborate with software team to enhance control software and data storage.
