C12, based in Paris, seeks an engineer to join the nanoassembly team and transfer ultra-pure carbon nanotubes onto microchips to create qubits. You will operate a bespoke vacuum setup and help improve experimental protocols in a highly collaborative, international lab.

Ideal candidates have an engineering background, love hands-on experiments, and can communicate in English. Paris office with strong growth in quantum tech awaits.

Qualifications

• Engineering diploma or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, Materials Science.
• Love experimental lab work and hands-on setup fabrication.
• Experience in hardware and experimental setup design and fabrication.
• Data collection/analysis; programming is a plus.
• Detail-oriented and well-organised in documentation.
• Independent, diligent, results-driven with problem-solving attitude.
• Very good English communication (written and spoken).

Responsabilités

• Operate and continuously improve the nano-assembly vacuum setup.
• Design and validate experimental protocols to optimise the nano-assembly success rate.
• Optically inspect, clean and characterise silicon chips (probe station, SEM).
• Collaborate with software team to improve control software and data storage.
