C12 Quantum Electronics in Paris is seeking a Thermal Modeling & Cryogenic Systems Engineer (Quantum Hardware). You will own the thermal architecture of complex cryogenic quantum systems, ensuring scalability, stability and performance while collaborating with quantum physicists and engineers.

Qualifications

• PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Cryogenics or a Masters with 5+ years in industry.
• Strong background in thermal engineering and cryogenics.
• Experience building and maintaining thermal models to guide design decisions.
• Cross-disciplinary collaboration with quantum hardware and systems teams.
• Hands-on with dilution refrigerators and multi-stage cryogenic platforms.
• Experience validating models with measurements and data analysis.
• Programming or scripting for data analysis (Python, Matlab).

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain system-level thermal models for quantum hardware.
• Work with engineers and physicists to identify thermal bottlenecks and guide design.
• Own the thermal budget and perform trade-offs between architectures.
• Validate thermal models with experiments and measurements.
