Job summary

Swan, a leading European fintech, is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure quality across two squads: KYC/Onboarding and Capital Deposit. You will join a small, capable QA team and collaborate with engineers, PMs, and product squads to deliver reliable banking features.

You will implement risk-based test strategies, automate E2E tests with Playwright and Cucumber, and help reduce automation debt while leveraging AI tools to improve testing speed and coverage.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of QA engineering experience in an agile product team.
• Ability to test APIs (GraphQL/REST) and web interfaces.
• Hands-on test automation experience with Playwright and/or Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Comfort reading/writing TypeScript; code familiarity encouraged.
• Experience using AI tools (Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT) to speed up testing.
• ISTQB concepts and testing vocabulary.

Responsibilities

• Be the QA reference for two product squads: KYC/Onboarding and Capital Deposit.
• Analyze specifications and user stories with PMs and engineers; raise ambiguities early.
• Design risk-based test strategies and create functional test cases.
• Execute functional, exploratory and regression testing (UI and API).
• Automate end-to-end scenarios with Cucumber and Playwright; maintain test suites.
• Maintain test repository (Qase) and requirements repository for traceability.
• Report and triage bugs; participate in root-cause analyses and post-mortems.
• Prioritize work across two squads and keep teams informed of risks and blockers.
• Leverage AI tools to speed up analysis and share best practices with QA team.
